Frequently Asked Questions

If you have a question that isn't answered below, you can give us a text/ring at (415) 613-9490, send us a direct email contact@bestinclassdogs.com, or reach out via our Contact Form.

What services do you offer?

Best in Class Dogs' go-to service is our Daily Training Tune-Up Walks. For our monthly member clients, we offer a portfolio of personalized services (our Concierge Services) tailored to their needs.

Does my dog need to be a show dog?

Of course not! We love ALL dogs, no matter whether you fostered, rescued, or bought your furry family member from a breeder. As a benefit to you, your dog will receive top-notch expertise, training, good habits and manners that an AKC show dog and family companion would learn given our team's background. We will gladly pass on these tips to you, the owner and dog parent.

How do I get started?

Thank you! You can fill out our New Inquiry Form. Feel free to include as much detail about your dog. Please feel free to text or call (415) 613-9490 or email Contact@BestInClassDogs.com if you have any questions at all. After we receive your New Inquiry Form, we will contact you to learn more about your dog, you, and your needs. You will then be set up with an online client account for easy scheduling, payments, and instant messaging with our team as well as an in-person Meet & Greet to ensure the mutual fit.

What does my dog need in terms of equipment for his or her walks?

A collar (and/or harness) and leash. We are flexible with whatever walking or training equipment (e.g. gentle leader, a front harness, a flat collar, a training collar) you normally use. We do not use e-collars or take dogs off-leash.

What areas do you service?

Our team offers our professional daily dog walking services across Atherton, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto.

If I am not located in Atherton, Menlo Park, or Palo Alto can I still request your services?

At this time, our team is focused on providing exceptional service to the dogs and dog loving families and estates of Atherton, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto. In the future, we may expand our service area.

Do you offer Dog Boarding at your team's home or Dog Overnights within homes?

Our long-term and Elite clients receive first priority for overnight care with our team should the availability permit. We value our relationships with your dogs and you. It is very rare that we take on new clients for solely dog boarding/overnight care. If this is your sole need, it might not be the best fit.

We’re more than happy to schedule pet care for last-minute needs, however we cannot guarantee that a walker is going to be available on short notice, (though 99% of the time it really isn’t a problem). We also only schedule service during our regular business hours (9AM-4PM Monday through Friday).
